NOTES
BOARD HISTORY
Possibly produced by an Adelaide or South Australian boat building company, they were generally labelled as Skipper Surf'n Paddle Boards, but later was abbreviated to Skippa Craft, see below.
The post-production artwork on the nose replicates Grumpy, as depicted in Walt Disney's 1937 animated feature Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs.

DESIGN HISTORY
Following the introduction of the Malibu board in 1956, in Australia the design was first reproduced in the well established hollow board construction of the Racing 16.
The new boards were shorter and,
importantly, a deep fin replacing the long based shallow keel.
Known as an Okinuee, standard models retained the simple square, or box, rails while advanced models (principally by established Sydney builders) added solid timber panels to the sides which were shaped to a rounded rail.
Whereas, most Okinuee's were square-tails, this pintail is rare and unusual.
