A simple hollow board design replicating the basic design of the Okinuee, but significantly without a fin.
The apparent lack of mutiple logitudinal battens (stringers) probably lightened the board but substantially reduced its strength.
Expert builders used a rounded shaped rail, vastly supoerior to these square rails.

Balsa supplier Arthur Milner and Co. supplied much of the balsa wood used by Sydney's boardmakers.
Altough not a manufacturer themselves, the company backloaded finished boards from Sydney to be retailed to Victorian boardriders.
