is no further report of the appearance of Mr. Bouffett, although due to
the disruption caused a black north easter (see link below for a
full report) this might be expected.
He may have participated in:
"The alarm reel race and the surf and beach race had to be abandoned, but several prominent surf swimmers gave an exhibition of shooting the waves."
